Don’t mind the critics- this is a character setup for another 3 movies later on in a saga. The arcs are just starting. Solid characters with deep color to their circumstances that will end up together. This first one will pay off later in the series. Take away the gratification of tying up or even concrete linking of storylines for mentioned reasons, the movie was excellent. It brings to life the layers of humanity in Apache territory during western expansion. Beautiful scenes, strong characters, and a promise of future fireworks that will be awesome. I can’t wait until the next one.
