The acting, the reality of this movie. Rosamund Pike! The emotion and pain she can convey. Exceptional. Watching her dig at the earth with her hands to bury her family. The break down. Wow. The story tells a slice of time that was harrowed by death, and war. Two groups, in the middle of a war, that they didn't necessarily start, but dealing with the repercussions nonetheless. Hard movie to watch if you give a damn.

As always, Costner and Harrelson deliver exactly what you'd expect from two veteran actors, a solid performance. Based on the true story of lawmen Hamer and Gault, it details the 102 days the pair tracked the Barrow gang, better known as Bonnie and Clyde across 15 states, culminating in the deaths of the Murderous pair, and their gang. Solid supporting performances by Hollywood heavyweights such as Kathy Bates and John Carroll Lynch round out a strong cast. Although not completely historically accurate, it is nonetheless an enjoyable Gem to be found on Netflix. 4/5 stars.
