Every new mom needs this book! So glad I purchased it. Any and every breastfeeding question you might have is answered in this book, which comes in super handy when you're a new mom panicking about something at 2 in the morning and can’t call your doctor or lactation consultant. This book is like having a baby expert living in your house! It covers so much more than breastfeeding. It is a super easy and enjoyable read. After finishing this book I find myself shocked at all the misinformation good willed people may give you about your baby and about breastfeeding. I kind of feel like an expert on breastfeeding after reading this. It really empowers a mom to have this knowledge. I especially enjoyed the vignettes and all the information on skin- to- skin that I had no clue about! Also the pictures in this book are super helpful. There are so many things as a new mom you question, is this normal? is this okay? what is this? and I feel like every question is answered in this book. The way the book is written it is very easy to go back and reference something, or to find what topic you are looking for quickly. There is so much important information in this book, it is a gift to mother and child to have this book. It will be my go to baby shower gift from now on! I’m grateful to the author for writing this.
