Not a comedy, not a drama, not a thriller; just plan "not"

Considering the reputation of the actors, the acting, or maybe the directing, was not very good. Having a 76 year old Robert De Niro play a 35 year old teamster/gangster looked ridiculous. His hair looked like it was blacked with shoe polish. This movie served only to diminish both De Niro's and Pacino's many great acting roles.

Some of the actors are a little too pretty, but this show tackles some tough subject matter, and it does it without bias on either side. For this alone, it deserves 5 stars.

The well done Bosch and J. Edgar characters save these adaptations of Michael Connelly's uniquely well written novels from mostly mediocre acting and directing. Actors sound like they're reading their lines from a teleprompter while taking turns to be sure everyone gets to say something.

As a Marine Vietnam veteran, i find this movie insulting to all veterans from all wars. The military inaccuracies are too numerous to mention.

My wife and i have just begun watching Intelligence. Outstanding characters, acting and film editing. A real shame that there are only two seasons.

If you like noir, you'll like this. If you want an ending with Mary Poppins floating off with her umbrella. watch something else.
