This bittersweet movie chronicles the journey of immigrants who came to America at the turn of the 20th and whose families became embroiled in the great melting pot of America. Those of us mature enough to remember our grandparents and their siblings saw the generational transitions occur. We fondly remember the old ways and old ethnic communities and realize how dramatic changes were with each new generation in the 20th Century. I love this movie and have lived to see 5 generations. This movie is a treasure to cherish and watch multiple times.
