I like that the combos are all like 2 to 4 inputs long,, as contrasted with games like tekken and mortal kombat where it can be very difficult to push 8 buttons in quick succession in order to perform 1 move
People say it's hard, but that's really only if you struggle against the current. If you go with the flow and take the time to learn how the combat mechanics actually work and what your button inputs do, it's exhilarating learning how to utilize these newfound skills accordingly.
Sifu is great. I wasn't sure what to expect from it at first. I read a list of 10 games overshadowed in '22 by elden ring, and it was #1, so I thought I'd check it out. Solo martial arts game seemed like a fun idea. What a privilege to be able to go in blind. Yeah, it's hard at first, whatever, but once you get your bearings it's a thrill to play. Practice the quick dodge. You'll need it for 2nd boss, and beyond. For 3rd boss, dodge her in phase 1 and quick dodge in phase 2. 4th boss you'll figure it out. 5th boss, Yang, is just damn hard, but if you learn his moves and get there at a young enough age, there is hope. I haven't done it yet but I'll get there.
