Here me out! I watched this because I read the books and fell in love with Travis Maddox as we all did. With that being said I went into it with minimal hopes of the movie following the book. Low and behold the only thing that was the same were the title and characters names. But I Loved how they made the movie fit modern times. I loved how they made it comical but somehow had be still hot and bothered for Travis. All I'm saying is go into it ready to have fun, laugh a little, and get a little steamy. Unfortunately, read the book if you want to read what the Author wanted us to experience and watch the movie if you want to see something almost completely unrelated. Treat them as two separate things and hopefully enjoy yourself!
