What takes The Wrong Man to a different level is the fact that it is a true story. There are really two plot lines. The wrong man being falsely accused of robbery and presumed guilty by circumstance and the devastating toll it takes on both him and his family, specifically his wife who slowly starts losing her mind when they can't find any witnesses to prove his innocence. Once again, Hitchcock with his superb directing, camera angles and special effects takes this story beyond just another crime story and turns it into a masterpiece of suspense.

To watch the way Alfred Hitchcock can take a few birds sitting on a wire and turn it into a frighteningly riveting thriller is to understand the genius of the man.

With a plot full of twists and turns and with his Hitchcockian camera angles, the Master has created another classic thriller only he could direct.

I absolutely LOVE this show! Living in a big city in Canada, my heart belongs to this tiny Cotswold village and all of its inhabitants. I adore Mrs. McCarthy, I'm in love with Sid! Lady Felicia is such a classy fun loving beautiful lady and all of the characters and police officers and detectives and the supporting cast, many of whom I see in other British shows, are superb! The writers who come up with new perils to keep Father Brown and his accomplices in plenty of hot water, inspiring! And as for Father Brown! As a man of God he protects his flock and is always there for them without passing judgement or trying to convert. I retired in 2018 and I have been binge watching this show every day since! I'm only sorry it had to come to an end but thanks to Netfliks, I can just go on watching infinitum! Congratulations to all!

my first experience with "bingeworthy"! You have to keep watching...it just draws you in...i was up to 2:00 am...on a weekday!
