The movie was setup nicely with ideologies in the first half speaking about the bigger evil. In the second half, it was filled with action. Dhanush's change from being British supporter because of suppression, to changing against British was awesome.
GV Prakash' BGM keeps every engaging. Some moments were really good like bike chasing sequence, Dhanush saying I am the devil, Sundeep Kishan's return.
There were minor lags in second half with inclusion of dance/song. John Kokken is irritating to watch, not because of the role, but for his overaction.
Overall, I liked the movie for the way it was directed, camera work, acting, and most importantly music.
