Many people have expressed concern over how long the movie is and I myself was concerned but sitting in theatre it felt like the movie was the same time as your average movie. When the movie ended I found myself wanting the film to be even longer. I was completely mesmerized by not only the visual effects but the plot, characterisation, world building and pretty much everything that makes up the movie. The movie does a good job at adding more character depth to both Jake and Neytiri which is something that the first movie lacked. The characters are complex and tell a compelling story. Like the first movie, this one has become a comfort film for me and I can't wait for more to be released.
