I was captivated by the love story of Elizabeth and Franz. I watch as many historical (fiction or not) series as I can and found ‘The Empress’ totally absorbing. Beautifully created with wonderful acting. I have only one negative comment and that is how upset I was to learn there was not another season! Thankfully, Netflix decided to request Season 2 and I have the date marked on my calendar! I would highly recommend this series and refuse to give any hints. A MUST watch!
