Strange, yet satisfying. A vast improvement in tone from the second installment of the franchise. This is a solid horror flick that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

One of my fellow students in a screenwriting class suggested this movie. I must say, this is quite an entertaining film. The Coen Brothers are so adept at creating masterfully quirky films and this one is no exception. The all-star (and soon-to-be all-star) cast is amazing and the twists and turns will keep you wondering where this will all end up. Great stuff!

Great cast and great, fun stories bring this young Clark Kent story to life. An outstanding show!

Excellent pre-Star Trek performance from William Shatner in the only dramatic/serious film by Roger Corman. William Shatner's character stirring up racism in a small town could have been somewhat of a career-killer. But, we found the film to be very enjoyable, however disturbing the subject matter is, and was.

Powerful, thought-provoking film that certainly deserves an Oscar. Amazing!

George Clooney did an impressive job of directing this quirky film. The story takes several twists and turns and lampoons the mystique of mid-century life in suburbia. Things are far less than idyllic, especially for the only African-American family in the neighborhood. But, in the end, the payoff is satisfying and has a good moral finale.

An extremely worthy addition to the Chainsaw franchise and far and away better than the 1994 incarnation. Equal to, or even better, than the original!

Very impressive work for the fledgling artistry of David Lynch.

Reasonably enjoyable zombie comedy. The ending could've been a bit more creative. But, the rest of the film is more than enough to make up for that small complaint. The dark political and religious humor helps propel the film despite some hackneyed zombie themes. All in all, we've seen the zombie apocalypse before, but never like this!
