Horror movies often suck. This one doesn't. It's consistently suspensful and the vampire zombies are literally perfect. The action and death scenes are a thing of beauty. The visual/audio ambience and music are great. Special effects are subtle and realistic. Drama not over done. I actually felt a bit... Scared... :0 The entire flick feels like a rather sophisticated 2025 quality horror movie time traveled to 2007 for release. Unbelievable, really.
The one issue is a slightly rushed ending. A few sensibilities were sacrificed to, what felt like, pack a bunch of interlapping things in to one hasty finalizing scene in order to uphold common theatre length.
