This movie is about a foolish young woman who lives carelessly, then won’t take responsibility for her mistakes – and a lunatic who makes others pay for her poor choices. I believe this film would have ended better with her in a hospital bed with irreparable injuries – after which someone more deserving discovers she left behind a winning lottery ticket that she’s bought at the convenience store that morning. This movie’s award-winning hoohah seems like nonsense to me – but if its viewers learn a lesson about behaving better, then it’s not all for naught.
