I loved this movie a lot. Very well picturised. Movie very much related with its name "devbhoomi". The marriage tradition of Uttarakhand is shown and filmised very well. The movie is very emotional and also shows how cast system is deeply rooted in the society. In the movie, the main character returns to village after 40yrs with a desease which will make him blind forever. He returns, so that he can see his village and relatives for one more last time. Upon arrival, he found that he was cursed to be blind by father of "Maya" (fm dancer cast) whom he left 40yrs ago. It is a must watch movie for all Uttarakhandi people. As well as others can also watch because the movie is presented in hindi language with little English and Garhwali.
