I’m a huge fan of the original. This is cheap carbon copy of the original. Basically, the “developer” believes because she’s learned so much while producing Jane the Virgin, she can make diverse television shows. That’s all fine and dandy, but you ruined something special for so many fans. You took MELINDA WARREN from the original and put her in the Book of Shadows... like this isn’t a reboot... it’s a remake. It’s a horrible, put together remake. The detective can’t act. They jam RL issues down your throat. When I watch TV, I don’t want to be reminded how messed up our world is. That’s what the news is for. I can watch the OG Charmed and you’d never known it premiered 20 years ago because they didn’t write RL issues into it. Sarah Jeffery is cute though. I’ll give them that. She would be my favorite if I could’ve made it through the first episode and it’s horrible acting... Oh, and they jacked up how whitelighters orb. It’s just all barf worthy.
