Mama Crackacorn

One of my favorite animes ever! Definitely watch it in original Japanese if possible as what little is left of the English dub cannot hold a candle to the tones/inflections/delivery of the lines in Japanese that make it so hilarious! Even though the show's 40 years old it has mostly held up to the test of time as I wasn't even born when it first aired. There are a few bits that seem out of place in today's society like talk of going to the disco or Ataru listening to vinyls on his big bulky player but they're just the right amount of sweet and nostalgic feeling to make it not have aged poorly. You'll 10000000% be invested in Lum & Ataru's relationship from start to finish and Tomobiki-cho will feel like your second home. Rumiko Takahashi is a master mangaka and it was the perfect move to have the series turned into an anime. Legit this anime was such a joy, start to finish, movies and OVA's and everything in between and you'd be doing yourself such a disservice as an anime fan to not watch this show. Urusei Yatsura forever!! <3
