If you love ballet, musical theatre, the 'Cats' stage production and obviously cats as creatures, I don't think you can fail to love this movie. Don't be influenced by the negative reviews or you'll miss out on a treat - I nearly did. Enjoy the extra magic and sparkle that CGI has added to one of the longest running stage productions in the history of Broadway and the West End. It was a joy to relax and give myself up to the creativity of a magical feline world which deeply reflects the human condition. With scenes ranging from light and joyful to dark and threatening, to tearfully poignant. I will return to watch it again while it's still on the big screen. Throughout the performance it felt as though I was at the theatre rather than in a cinema.
