This movie was a disaster. They made Priscilla a shell of who she actually was. You can write a submissive character without just making her nod and say yes to everything. This is an example of bad directing, but everyone knows Coppola is just an ugly Nepo baby. This movie has no substance, no format, no nothing so they had to rely on solely aesthetics. You also could’ve made Elvis more abusive. I left the movie thinking Priscilla was overreacting about Elvis. I was bored half way through this movie from the way Elvis didn’t look at all like Elvis, was freakishly tall, and mumbled for the lack of preparation for his Elvis accent. Coppola should be ashamed of herself, she will never amount to her dads directing and this movie was a showcase. Boring, dry and so unlike the electric story of Priscilla and Elvis. You exploited an elderly Priscilla when her daughter Lisa emailed Coppola a year in advance to not release this movie. This is the worst movie I have ever seen.
