The Little Mermaid is AMAZING! Halle Bailey is the perfect person to play Ariel. I literally got chills when she sang “Part of Your World.” The CGI during “Under the Sea” was mesmerizing in addition to the singing. I loved Melissa McCarthy as Ursula and her singing of “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” I was a bit weary of the casting choice of Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric but he definitely grew on me. I loved the soundtrack so much that I immediately ran to target right after and bought the soundtrack cd. For anyone who is debating whether or not to watch it, PLEASE WATCH IT, it is amazing! Don’t listen to anyone that is trying to tank this movie’s ratings, they don’t accurately represent the execution of the movie!
