Absolutely Terrible. Watched it with my mom and my husband. I love Roald Dahl 's stories and thought this will be as good as Matilda. However it was too irritating to be entertaining. I was bored within 15 minutes of the movie. The only good part was Anne Hathaway 's acting. Kids might find it too disturbing though. Some scenes even scared me .apart from the special effects nothing else was special about this movie. So disappointing.

One of the best movies I have ever watched in my childhood.not recommended for kids at all.i didn't know then.I couldn't remember the name of the movie and so Tried searching it as "everyone goes to sleep and loses their memories." Though it has been almost two decades since I saw it,I won't forget the beautiful melancholic world of this movie ..see it if you can.i promise,you won't forget it.
