Why are the 5-star reviews all copy-pasted or sound like something written by a publicist?! This movie felt like the writers sat down to list everything that made the original great and them decided to purposefully leave it out. I wanted the scene after the match-making disaster where Mulan cries and sings. I wanted the developement of the soldiers from terrible to great.
It was missing EVERYTHING that makes you connect and adore the characters. I miss all her quirky soldier friends. And mushu :( why pheonix and not dragon is beyong me. Where’s grandma??
