It's not a terrible film but it's not great. Entertaining enough. The plot is paper thin and anyone who has watched a few action films will know who is who in the first few minutes. A bit too chatty, the plot does not need explaining as much as they do. Clichés and corn is in abundance but if you enjoy some very rough and instant justice and not having to think too hard give it a go.

It's ok and I'm glad I watched it. Idris is good, all the cast are good and the cinematography is great with a vivid use of colours. It is Tarantino ish and stylish. So why only ok? The story, it just makes no sense and instead of focusing on the action I found myself asking why did they do that? That won't work, that makes no sense and so on. No spoilers here but there are parts of the plot that are disappointing and the interesting characters never really develop. I probably wouldn't watch it again which is a standard by which I mark a film as great or just ok. I think it could have been so much more.
