Chainsaw Choir

Cool universe, cool characters, cool special effects, garbage writing. None of the characters make a single decision that makes any sense. Every recruitment goes like this: "Join us" "No" "Please" "Okay" I thought this was perhaps based on a 20 book series and they had a tough time adapting it to a screenplay, but no, it's just horribly written and they tried to cram too much in. It keeps hinting at a lore rich universe, which is maddening, because they barely explore any of it beyond a few throwaway lines of dialog. Worth a watch if you like cool sci-fi explosions. A ton of great ideas, exceptionally poorly executed.
