The General Puglet

Dee's Big Nuts was such an inspirational book. It completely changed my life. As a suicidal person*, after reading this, I no longer was feeling depressed, my insomnia went away, I stopped overthinking so much, and I overall felt so much better, mentally and physically. This book has transformed my life in ways I can't explain, nor may I put in words. The plot is so intriguing and intricate, connecting the dots in so many ways it made you realize how stupid you were all along to not be able to realize it. Dee's Big Nuts opened my eyes to many new pathways in which I can follow for a successful, bright life. And don't get me started on the cover. The cover is IMMACULATE. The gloss, the beauty, the amount of time it took the artist to make it, I swear they could be the next Picasso. The lines are so detailed, I can't imagine how long it'd take for them to paint the final cover. It's so fine, I can't believe people would believe such cover is so easy to draw their 5-year-old niece could replicate it with a blindfold. They're just jealous. *Note: I wasn't suicidal lol I just said that because it's a joke review.

To be fair, the relationship between Cassie and Luke was so toxic. They both fought like cats 85% of the time, Luke's an absolute jerk (I love Nicholas Galitzine though, he's so sweet and handsome. Same with Sophie Carson), their opposing views dragged down their relationship, actors had some chemistry, the movie was rushed, and for some reason after Cassie found out that Luke was dabbling in the drugs business, she still said she wanted to get back with him after he's out of prison. When Frankie and Cassie got Luke a dog for his injury, he still yelled at them because he "didn't need help" as if he wasn't on crutches and a wheelchair, literally your legs got blasted during your Iraq tour. The songs were fire, the voice was phenomenal, and Sofia's performance was pleasant to see.

You know what, if you saw my last review screw that one. After careful consideration, it’s now a 10/10. Yes, the movie took out few characters and changed some items, but I guess I’m alright with it. The movie was beautiful, and it made me cry a little after knowing Henry and Alex can’t be together. If a romance movie makes you cry, you know that’s a good movie. It felt rushed, and honestly I felt like they should have made a part 2 (I don’t mind waiting another year if it’s gonna help the plot more) because a lot of the book was cut off from the movie. Needless to say, I absolutely love the chemistry between the actors on screen. It’s a beautiful, intricate story about forbidden love, but they do get together in the end 💖 our Henry and Alex ❤️❤️

By all the WoF books I've read, this one is my least favorite. Wings of Fire and the Dark Secret was literal trash. The Alternative Dragonets had no development to it, and they were just plain boring. Like, all Squid knows is to complain, FateSpeaker was USELESS AND ANNOYING, Flame was ok, Ochre was super tragic and a complainer (AKA the rip-off MudWing version of Starflight), and Viper knows nothing but just fighting Flame. At least 4/5 of the book was just Starflight moping around and complaining about how he wishes to get back to his friends and just being held hostage by the NightWings. The only good part about this book was at the end, because 1. the book was about to end and 2. Starflight finally got back to the Rainforest Kingdom, back to his friends, and he stopped complaining - that's when he actually DID something. Meaning he became brave to stand up to his own tribe. The book would've been MUCH MUCH better if he stood up to them in the first place, like near the beginning-middle part of the book.
