Well to start off, it's another one of those movies seen and done entirely through a computer monitor. So some dude "finds" a Macbook in lost and found and somehow got the password right and logs in. Tells his friends that he bought a new one and not sure why he had to lie about that in the first place but he did. He is developing an app to help him sign with his girlfriend so they can communicate better. Then hopes on a Skype call after arguing with her to have a game night with his friends. Then he tells the truth and says he found it and brought it home and they find all sorts of videos including murder and all that jazz and everyone freaks out. After that, the bad people finds out he has it then threatens his girlfriends life saying give it back, he finds the banking app with crypto currency then transfers it out in retaliation only to be played by the guy messaging him. Then everyone else starts to get hacked and found out where they are and takes out his friends one by one and making them look like suicides and even gets the SWAT team to kill one of them mind you, you see all of this from a monitor. Makes one girl choose between her lover and her mother and somew how hack the life support and take out her mother and still kill the lover. In the end everyone dies and I did not see the point in everyone dying and I hate these modern type "Hacker" movies where this on the fly thing is happening in real time and people are being superimposed onto recordings and the fact that the SWAT team shot him over them playing the sound of a shotgun being racked. Speaker sounds are not that realistic... All in all don't waste your time on this movie there is hardly a plot line and no character development. I have wasted an hour and half of my life on this not including this review. Save it for something actually thrilling and not some high school scary waste of time. Believe me, I'm doing you a favor.
