I loved this movie. It was intense. It is a movie!! Yes you can have emotion over what the boy is doing. I bet this is not far from what kids think but don't act on. He wanted to do whatever without any adult supervision but in the end he wanted his family back. It was a well made movie. It is meant to be entertaining not real.
