I've played diablo games since 2001. This is how I'd rate them personally.
Diablo 2
Diablo 1
Diablo 4
Diablo 3
I think diablo 4 lacks so many features previous features diablo games have had but the itemization for me was the make it or break it, but unfortunately I feel itemization was one of the worst aspects of the game.
