It’s been about a year since watching this film. I can say with complete certainty that the horror has left a stain on my conscience, perhaps eternally. I’ve thought about this film daily since viewing it. The uncertain and uneasy tone is scarred deep into my soul. The dull psychological thrill haunts my every waking step. Possum just may be the most terrifying, bleak, visceral horror film ever released. If you are in search for a film that is capable of truly rocking you at the core, you have met your match. Tread lightly.
