The visuals were captivating, and the acting was superb. The movie was tense throughout. Gory and disturbing, yes, but that is the trademark of a good vampire film. The pace was slow but meaningful. The story was ably told and the main characters were well developed. It is, after all, a vampire movie, so the true test is: did the movie draw you in? Answer, yes.

An entertaining movie with a nostalgic background. The action scenes were enjoyable and edge-of-your-seat fun. Have we seen some of these before in other movies? Sure, but the cinematography and sound is superb. The characters were well developed and it was good to see some characters from the original. The movie was simply a lot of fun.
