I avoided the show for the first 3 seasons. My brother insisted I watch it, and I still balked because I hate zombie flicks. But...once I started watching, I was hooked. It is not about zombies. Not at all. It is about survival and what you will do as a human to do so. How much of yourself must you compromise in order to live. We are in the 9th season now...and man. I LOVE this show. I grieve for the lost characters and I look forward to each and every morsel AMC gives us.
