*maybe a spoiler* The Hunger Games had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and it portrayed very well the struggles of trying to not die when everybody's out to kill you . . . I was disappointed, though, that Katniss never admitted that the other tributes were human too and treated death lightly except when it concerned her friends or family. Actually i was waiting for all the tributes to band together and choose not to fight each other, that would've been better than waiting to think about this alternative until there were only the star crossed lovers to consider. It would've been even more revolutionary, and the government can't very well kill 24 teens without protest. Anyway, you get what you get. (Note, i only read the first book so my review might not be complete, but ok)
