Flanagan's best work. I come back to this show once every year and I'm always left speechless. The problem I've faced with the horror genre in general is how they focus so much on the jumpscares that they usually end up losing the plot. Which is the reason why watching hill house for the very first time was a pleasant surprise and why I love Flanagan's work so much. If you haven't watched the series yet you HAVE to give it a chance. I've recommended it to everyone I know, even the people that don't like horror. That's how incredible hill house is!
