A could be good movie depicting the unfortunate and tragic fate, historical status of women in that era, objects to be used and abused, the 4 or 5 rape scenes we're not necessary, that made the movie very unpleasant to watch for both me and my husband, maybe some twisted minds would watch them without making them feel raped themselves. Those scenes could have been implied, without repeating them and making them last for the entire rape event. I could not sleep, the scenes invaded my nightime peace. Fotography, location, the actors all very good.
