They screwed up sokka and don't give him all the room he needs to grow correctly. They seem to have missed the point of sokka whole character. Aang wasn't goofy and immature at All wich give him no room to grow into the serious avatar he needs to become. He just starts off pretty serious. The show has all the elements to be great and they are following alot if the things that I would have expected. But the characters feel more hollow like they do the things they do for no real reason. They have opened a few plot holes in the show that they may be able to explain away. I'm still getting further into the show so I will return and update my post as I get further. For now it appears to be a relatively. Mediocre show. It's a shame becuase Netflix crushed it with the one piece live action but they are really dropping the ball with this one.

It definitely didn't explain everything it needs to but it's really good and not to far from the books it will be confusing to some extent if you haven't read the book but it's an awesome movie
