Boring, way too much traveling back and fourth, and soooo much loading. Games like Skyrim and Fallout were fantastic to explore and it had something new and interesting around every corner, and it made you feel like you were on an actual adventure. Starfield isn't like that. You just fast travel from point A to point B, with 90% of the planets being empty, and no vehicles to get around them.
There are a few alright quests, but nothing memorable. The only thing to shoot are humans, so not much variety there. Building outposts is absolutely pointless, and while there is a robust ship creation tool, I just didn't see much point in it, especially since the space battles are mediocre. On top of that, there is no seamless transition when traveling from space to planet (No man's sky achieved this years ago).
I had such high hopes for this, but I was disappointed by almost every facet of the game. Perhaps I got sucked too much into the hype when people were saying it's going to be "game of the generation", and that's my fault, but in all honesty I would rather just play NMS or the still amazing Mass Effect trilogy than play an utterly boring and disappointing game like Starfield.
Thankfully I got a free month trial of Game Pass, so I got to play through it for free. If I had actually paid full retail for it, I would have been quite upset.
