It took 20 minutes to get rolling, and Jerry Seinfeld is no Wes Anderson, but this is definitely an homage to him. I think the biggest mistake people have going into this is that they expect this to be historically accurate, or wildly funny. It's a parody set in a fictional world with real names. It's not supposed to be anything but. I'm not sure that all the one-star reviews are warranted considering that people had either a skewed point of view on Jerry Seinfeld's latest PR nightmare, or a skewed misconception of what this movie was about. And no, it's not "Seinfeld", but not everything Jerry does should be.
