Surprisingly refreshing! Halle Berry is amazing and shows that there are beautiful actresses over the age of 50 who can get the job done! I'm sick of seeing Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston in every movie that decides to match up age appropriate couples. Dana Delany is still gorgeous, as is Lorraine Bracco. I actually wasn't going to watch this bc Mark Wahlburg's action movies are all about him being the best at everything in the room. He showed so much growth in this movie, taking a backseat to Halle. I hope they do a second one. Just a fun movie in a grim time!

First, I'd like to congratulate the entire cast on their acting. I would have not watched the entire movie had it not been for the entire casts performance. I could go point by point on why this movie was horrible but I don’t have that kind of time. A movie is an art form of storytelling. Several directions were taken to tell a tale, but none actually fully form. It was a mess of jigsaw puzzles thrown together with too many missing pieces to form any type of genre, let alone to categorize it as a "psychological drama" is, to say the least, overreaching.

Lift was not just a disappointment, but a grueling experience to watch. I'm not sure how this could be as bad as it was with such an extraordinary (under used) supporting cast with the likes of Jean Reno, Sam Worthington, Ursula Corbero, Vincent D'Onofrio and the highly talented Paul Anderson (I see you Arthur Shelby). Kevin Hart needs to realize that he cannot pull off a "Danny Ocean" persona, nor pull such and ensemble together.
