I have watched the seasons of Time Team and enjoyed the learning experience. The digs, though sometimes not exciting in themselves, showed the prowess and skill the team could bring to help the viewer understand the process, procedure, and result of collaboration. The demonstration of processes long gone from modern society showed the viewers how things were done in the past and how many of those skills carry over even now. The team brought humor and real emotion to the show and enjoyed their companionship for many years. It is a series that I enjoy watching over and over. Having a degree in archaeology, though only participating in a few digs, I find it refreshing to see the practices that I used still being used today and practices that were used on the show sometimes reveal to me how archaeology has stayed true to the practices of documentation and presentation. It is a series well worth watching.
