Putting aside your personal opinion on undocumented immigrants, this book does an extremely thoughtful job in bringing a humane side to this issue. The author does not attempt to justify, but to explain why. Mr. Urrea takes you on a very frightening, horrible journey that will never leave you. This is a book that deserves to be read.
