This movie exceeded my expectations. Very well written and produced, it shows the sad and cruel reality that (mostly) poor families go through in Central and South America. And it happens all over the world, but I'm being specific to the true life story that the movie depicts.
I am originally from Central America and know by first hand that this how the bad guys operate and heartbreakingly, the end is not happy in thousands of cases unlike in the movie.
There's action and suspense and the rescue part it's simply CARDIAC (thinking in Spanish here). It's definitely PF-13 so don't hesitate to take along your teenagers to see it. Today I told one of my co-workers about it and when I said the name, she said "the Catholic movie?" and by no means this shows to be religious of any kind. It's simply a true story that we're not used to hear about. No wonder why the big Hollywood elites are against it, because it shows that this is a much bigger issue than what is seems.
Politicians, CEOs, famous personalities, etc. are involved in this underworld of trafficking and they don't want the truth to be exposed. It's simply about human rights, about what is right and what is wrong and compassion, love, innocence, and all good feelings towards the most vulnerable human beings: children.
Promote it and go see it!!! We, as citizens, have a voice and this is our chance to show it.
