I truly enjoyed this unbiased history lesson that comes with a great journey. Having done America’s Great Loop myself (but not using much at all of the Mississippi) I respect his decision to ignore all the “You’re going to die” mis- advice) and learn as he went. Almost nobody knows what if feels like to take a small vessel out among the barge traffic and survive.
