One of the worst movies I have EVER watched... Trailer looked like the movie would be awesome, but it was SUCH a let down... The storyline was pathetic, some of the scenes were VERY questionable for children too Overall, wouldn’t watch again

EASILY one of the best films I have EVER watched. As someone who is working towards a conservation degree, I KNEW it would be something I'd love, because I ADORE the book. The wildlife illustration side also hit home bc I myself AM a wildlife illustrator with an alcoholic parent. So as you can imagine, Kya as a character felt EXTREMELY close to home! Anyway, with all the recent controversy regarding the author, I wasn't too keen on watching it, but safe to say, it was the PERFECT way to turn a book into a movie! Been in TWICE to watch, and will EASILY go back in again!
