Lazy acting and disdain for audience's sensibilities is seen clearly. The brashness and energy of their arrogance that is so large in their interactions with people is missing in their performances. People mustn't take sides, sure; but if the acting and copied storyline doesn't make much sense, can you blame the audience for dissing the movie? A waste of time, money and sensibility.
