Sona Omi

I was really excited about this games release, so I tried not to spoil anything for myself and the overall tone I was hearing told me the game was “revolutionary” and a “must buy” as far as cozy farming sims are concerned… so I was incredibly excited while I waited on the game to download. However after even just a few hours playing the game, it just feels empty. The graphics are… fine, the characters are hollow and repetitive and they don’t have much in the way of sentimentality (which doesn’t make any sense considering this games selling point was that it’s focus was relationship building) and the mechanics like foraging and fishing are very dull and not engaging. I’m honestly really disappointed with this purchase, considering it cost as much as say… a Mario game, or just 10$ shy of Hogwarts Legacy and the overall quality is so lackluster in comparison. I wish Nintendo offered refunds on digital purchases because this game really wasn’t worth the 50$ price tag. :/
