Jurassic World: Dominion is yet another sequel aiming to cash in on nostalgia; only this time it succeeds! Without spoiling anything, I’ll simply suggest that moviegoers be at least vaguely familiar with the plot of the last installment, Fallen Kingdom. Diehard fans of the original Jurassic Park (1993) will be tickled by the numerous callbacks and references, seemingly bookending the franchise. This film was successful in ways many other generational sequels fell short, particularly in how it treated its beloved characters, leaving me feeling satisfied as if everything had finally been tied up in a neat little bow.
