Why is this show so regressive? Why do Bindiya wants to be with someone who doesn’t even respect her? Women characters are expected to have minimum self respect and not be desperate to stick with a man who is least bothered just because she is married to him. There are many ways to showcase her strong personality that the show had in her childhood. The character of Bindiya has been completely killed. She need not stick around with a guy just because she is married to him. He has done nothing or has no super powers, the female leads don’t need to compete with each other for such persons. Just doing household chores does not make a women perfect a Bahu, she deserves some respect and avenues for growth.
