At first, it was too strong for me in terms of characters, I sensed disrespect in the way one human spoke to another. I felt like there is equal violence and hatred in protecting a casteless and genderless love as there is in breaking it.
One soul, one heart to another I felt why create such a triggering movie, why should disrespect be the way to protect each other's love and identity, why not show it in a peaceful manner instead. Why should acceptance be projected with the same hate as rejection...
That's what I thought.
But this is indeed a brilliant script, with even brilliant characters and direction. GV PRAKASH has added way more power and strength with the scoring.
There is poetry in every single line, in every character depiction, in every scene. It is a slow paced movie for the most part but very realistic and mighty powerful, without a speck of doubt.
I appreciate the entire cast and crew with thunders of claps. And I raise a multitude of such roars to the ones living several lives in reality. Applaudworthy for sure!
Wish I watched it in theatre but given it's a covid release, we all lost that beautiful opportunity with this OTT release.
