I loved this movie and highly recommend it. I was a child when Ms. Franklin released her greatest hits. I enjoyed her music along with the world as I grew into adulthood. Jennifer Hudson’s portrayal was Oscar worthy. Her vocal gift is incredible. Mr. Whittaker and Marlon Wayans both gave outstanding performances as well. This biopic was portrayed excellently. There was appropriate sensitivity with regard to Ms. Franklin’s early pregnancies, emotional struggles, spousal and alcohol abuse. As well as her recovery and comebacks. I loved that her biggest selling album was her gospel album. I might even go see it again!♥️
