Agree with the comment that this is the third--best Terminator movie. Lots of energy and vigour, with some commited performances. The familiar set-pieces are there - carnage on the highway, extreme violence among heavy machinery - but James Cameron carries them off with such aplomb their familiarity does not detract from their effect.
